TEMPERATE HOUSE - KEW GARDENS

As part of Temperate House restoration project, Britannia were asked to supply and install cast iron floor grilles to the heater trenches.

Approximately 80m of grilles were fitted in a Victorian style pattern and the grilles were designed to allow maximum heat circulation around the greenhouse.

A large part of the project was to create a structural support system for the grilles to enable them to withstand up ten tonnes.
